Culverhill Farm

Set in 160 acres of rolling North Devon hills, Culverhill Farm provides a fantastic base to train thoroughbred racehorses. The farm was bought by Nick and Jane in 2002 and has been carefully and thoughtfully developed since then to offer world class facilities to an elite team of horses and owners.

As well as having access to miles of quiet country lanes for road work, vast expanses of Exmoor to freshen them up and a river for cooling off their legs the following facilities are available to all the horses trained by Nick at Culverhill Farm:

  • A 5 furlong all weather wood chip Gallop;

  • A 40m x 20m Arena;

  • 2 Schooling Grounds with hurdles, french hurdles and fences;

  • A half mile Grass Circuit at Oakwell;

  • A 500m Grass Circuit at Wandford Bridge;

  • 15 self contained Turnout Paddocks for daily turnout;

  • Stabling for 40 horses
